Hello everyone,
My name is Kristen Marchiole and I am a Curriculum Coordinator for Erie 1 BOCES.
For those of you who are feeling a bit overwhelmed by the aspect of using 21st Century Learning, I have been there. I am one of the more new users of wikis and blogs, I am sure. I have only been blogging since this summer (2007), and have been using my blog as a way to inform family members and friends of the exciting events and milestones in my daughter’s life…she is seven months old and ever changing. The reason I share this information with you is this; I decided to begin getting used to blogging on a more personal level, rather than professional for the mere purpose of feeling comfortable. I didn’t want to take risks with new technology until I felt comfortable using it myself. What I have found is, a comfort level, one that is going to help me build my educational blog.
The implications for the classroom seem to be endless. If there are any questions you have, please feel free to ask and I will do my best to work through them with you.
